BSI is about building capability, shaping opportunities, and igniting potential through learning.
We care about our clients and make it our business to ensure they have a positive experience. We know how to inspire learners, and create experiences that have a lasting impact on performance.
We’ve built long and trusted partnerships with some of the biggest names in Australia… including government departments, banks, consulting firms, retail and franchisors, in disability services, legal and medical industries and a growing number of not-for-profit organisations.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure working with BSI. If a potential customer asked about whether to work with them, they would have a strong recommendation from me.”
Derick Brumley
Senior Manager, Assurance Business Learning, PwC
“There is such a benefit collaborating with an external learning organisation – the expertise that an BSI was able to bring to the table when discussing and composing the solution enhanced the educational quality and creativity of the final training solution.”
Sharika Jeyakumar
Associate Director, Family Violence Response, Victoria Legal Aid

Senior Lawyer, Family Violence, Victoria Legal Aid
“You guys get it. You get that digital learning is important, but it isn’t going to save the world on its own. You’re good at being real and understand what clients are trying to do… rather than show off what fancy digital stuff you can build.”
Dan Casey
Capability Development Manager, Vision Australia
We first opened our doors as a studio called A-frame in the early 2000’s. We later became Salmat Learning from 2007, and finally joined the BSI family in 2015. Some of our team have been around for most of that journey!
In 2021, we moved to a 100% remote and flexible working model, and haven’t looked back. We now have team members all across Australia.

I have always enjoyed designing forms, stories, and experiences, was always interested in the interplay between what we see and what we hear and interact with.
It is genuinely exciting to see what this amazing team is capable of, and I am proud to lead them into the future and realise all of the possibilities that technology and creativity can bring to learning.
If I could sum up what I love about this business, it’s the myriad media disciplines, projects, and people – both colleagues and clients – that I get to associate with on a daily basis.
No two days are ever quite the same. The challenges of custom L&D keep me on my toes, and the challenge of constant improvement – both personally and for the business – keep me motivated day in, and day out.
